Eeuwenlang deden verhalen de ronde over de Zheztyrnaqs, mythische wezens met lange klauwen, buitengewone kracht en een dorst naar menselijk bloed. Hoewel de meesten ze afdoen als pure legendes, wandelen de Zheztyrnaqs nog steeds onder ons. Miras, een gewone jongen uit Almaty, wordt verliefd op Ayna, een prachtige en succesvolle vrouw. Zijn ouders zijn dolblij met het vooruitzicht dat hun zoon in een rijke familie zal trouwen en kijken er reikhalzend naar uit om deel uit te maken van Ayna’s prestigieuze familie. For centuries, stories have circulated about the Zheztyrnaqs, mythical creatures with long claws, extraordinary strength and a thirst for human blood. Although most dismiss them as mere legends, the Zheztyrnaqs still walk amongst us. Miras, an ordinary boy from Almaty, falls in love with Ayna, a beautiful and successful woman. His parents are overjoyed at the prospect of their son marrying into a wealthy family and are eagerly looking forward to becoming part of Ayna’s prestigious family. But they have no idea what dark secrets lie behind the doors of their future in-laws’ luxurious country house.
