IN THE ZUIDAS’ NEW CINEMA, FILM AND REALITY MEET

Welcome to Cinema The Pulse. Here, on the Zuidas, one of the most metropolitan and cinematographic parts of town, we offer an exciting film programme ranging from the latest mainstream quality and arthouse films to cult classics.

In our selection we aim to showcase the latest and greatest, but also blur the boundaries of film and reality. Wherever we direct our lens, we can spot a potential storyline. By giving you a place to experience, question and share film, we intend to make stories come alive — on the silver screen and in real life.

We hope to see you soon.

ABOUT The Pulse

Cinema The Pulse is located on the bottom floor of The Pulse of Amsterdam, a state of the art sustainable residential tower. The facade is made of biobased composite and within the building, there’s a complete tiny forest with different native trees, biosolar rooftops and green roofs.

The Pulse of Cinema

At Cinema The Pulse we don’t only screen film history, we also like to make it. Using the Zuidas as a backdrop, we invite filmmakers of all kinds to develop their screenplay or film trailers with us. Our website will function as a platform for young and established filmmakers and script writers. Stay tuned for the first scripts and trailers.

Bar-Restaurant Lucy & café sien

On the ground floor of Cinema The Pulse, you'll find Bar-Restaurant Lucy and Café Sien. Named after light and vision, these two sister venues offer a warm welcome to cinephiles and locals alike.

Bar-Restaurant Lucy is a stylish yet accessible brasserie where you can enjoy a relaxed coffee, lunch, or a bistro dinner.

Café Sien is a laid-back spot for drinks and snacks before or after the cinema, or an evening of watching football — perfect for casual get-togethers.

Check out Lucy's menu here. Or plan your birthday drinks-and-a-movie at Sien here.
